Dr. Atchima Suwanchinda

Dr. Atchima Suwanchinda completed her medical education at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok Thailand, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Dermatology and dermatologic surgery training at the Boston University Medical School (Boston, MA, USA). She was the first trainee in fellowship in laser and dermatologic surgery at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. Since 1996, Dr. Suwanchinda is an instructor in Mohs surgery, laser, dermatologic surgery at Laser and Cosmetic Surgery unit and the International Training Center in Laser Surgery at Ramathibodi University Hospital, Mahidol University. She is also an instructor in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at School of Antiaging and Regenerative Medicine, Mae Fah Laung University. She is a lecturer and keynote speaker at many dermatologic meetings nationally and internationally on laser and Botulinum toxin and filler injection in Asians and integrative treatment in cosmetic surgery.

She has dedicated herself in teaching in dermatologic and cosmetic surgery worldwide. She is one of the mentors of The ASDS International Dermatologic Surgery Educational Mentorship Exchange Program (ITMP), USA. She received the ITMP Outstanding Contribution Award in 2017 as the recognition of her significant contributions to the ITMP and leadership, teaching, enthusiasm, and commitment to the international educational exchange in dermatologic surgery. Moreover, she has been actively working academically with non-profit international dermatologic surgery societies. Currently she is on the Board of Directors of 2 nonprofit academic international societies: The Dermatologic & Aesthetic Surgery International League (DASIL) and International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) in addition to Thai Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery in Thailand (Thaicosderm).
